Money Way Coaching
Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
The short version
- We collect only what we need to coach you, schedule with you, bill you, and email you if you sign up.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- We share information only with the services that help run the business (like scheduling and payments), or when the law requires it.
- You can unsubscribe from emails anytime, and you can ask to see, correct, or delete your information.
1. Who we are
This website and the coaching services described on it are provided by Tensa L. Ndongwa d/b/a Money Way Coaching, Rochester, New York ("Money Way Coaching," "we," "us"). This policy covers moneyway.llc, our client portal, and the coaching services we provide. Questions? Email moneywayllc25@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Email sign-ups — your first name, last name, and email address when you request the free workbook or join our email list.
- Booking a call — the name, email, and any answers you provide when you schedule through Calendly.
- Payments — billing details you enter in Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe processes your card or bank information; we do not receive or store your full card or account numbers.
- Coaching information — what you choose to share with your coach, such as income, expenses, debts, savings, goals, credit report details, and (for business clients) business finances.
- Messages — emails and other messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: Our website host (Netlify) records standard server logs and anonymous site-performance data, such as pages visited and load times. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or social media pixels.
3. The client portal
Notes, checklists, and progress you enter in the client portal are saved only in the web browser on the device you are using. They are not sent to us or stored on our servers. Anyone with access to that device and browser could see them, so please avoid using a shared or public computer, and never enter account numbers, passwords, or your Social Security number in the portal.
4. How we use your information
- To provide coaching, prepare session recaps and roadmaps, and track your progress.
- To schedule sessions and send reminders.
- To process payments and keep billing records.
- To send the free workbook and weekly emails you signed up for.
- To answer your questions and improve our website and programs.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers that help us run the business, who may use your information only to provide their services to us: Netlify (website hosting and forms), Calendly (scheduling), Stripe (payments), Google (email and fonts), and our email newsletter provider.
- Professional referrals — if you ask to be connected with a CPA, attorney, or other professional, we share only what you approve.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect someone's safety.
- Business changes — if Money Way Coaching is reorganized (for example, into a company), your information would transfer to the new business and remain protected by this policy.
6. Group coaching
In Friends & Circles and group business coaching, anything you say during a session is heard by the other members. Every member agrees to keep what's shared in the group confidential, and your specific dollar amounts are never shared without your permission. However, we cannot control what other members do, so please share only what you're comfortable with.
7. Emails
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. If you are a client, we will still send messages about your sessions, billing, and program.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure, reputable service providers, password-protected accounts with two-step verification where available, and limiting access to your information to your coach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. How long we keep information
We keep coaching notes for as long as you are a client and for up to three years afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Billing and tax records are kept as long as the law requires (generally up to seven years). Email-list information is kept until you unsubscribe.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing moneywayllc25@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may keep certain records when the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's law, and we will honor them.
11. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not track visitors across other websites or use advertising trackers, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends this signal.
12. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Other websites
Our site links to other services, such as Calendly, Stripe, and annualcreditreport.com. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
14. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above. If we make a significant change to how we use client information, we will let current clients know by email.
